Jaliqa's First Day of DOT Training
This morning we started off with a true and false ice breaker.Once we broke the ice and loosened up a little Ms. Jackson informed us of the house rules. One of the main rules was no cell phones, because it would be difficult to use your cell phone and gain the proper knowledge that they are trying to incorporate about the technology. She also discussed our dress code, chewing gum, and proper language. We are the faces of DOT and our image says a lot about us.Some responsibilities of DOT interns are to incorporate technology into the different learning environments,be on time, dress professionally, and aid the teachers to the best of our ability. Some of our goals while working with DOT are: to enhance knowledge through technology in the learning environments, to take all knowledge that is gained throughout this training and incorporate it into new and fun ways of learning about technology and how to use it, to be one the best faces of DOT for the 2010-2011 school year, and to keep a positive attitude and always have a backup plan for any task given.
